Andrew Downton

​Andrew Downton is a Juno Award winning mastering engineer, and owner of Railtown Mastering. 

He has mastered projects with Bryan Adams, Bob Rock, Dave Grohl, Debbii Dawson, Bilal, Jay Royale, KRS-One, Vinnie Paz, Henry Wagons, and many other artists around the world, both independent and established. His work has earned a Juno Award (Electronic Album of the Year) for Tor's "Oasis Sky", three additional Juno nominations for Blues Album of the Year, Vocal Jazz Album of the Year, and Traditional Roots Album of the Year, an Aria Award nomination for Country Album of the Year, and two Canadian Screen Award nominations for Apple TV's "The Snoopy Show".

 

Corporate work includes projects with Keystone/Disney, Sony Pictures, Warner Brothers, Apple, Dreamworks, and Coca-Cola.

 

While most days are spent mastering music from a wide array of genres, Andrew continues to work as a recording engineer for the Vancouver Film Orchestra, and on hi-res world music releases recorded on location in Cuba. 

 

Roger Monk Recording and Mixing Engineer

Roger Monk

Roger Monk is a Grammy and Juno Award winning recording engineer with 50 years of experience in the industry. 

 

He was chief engineer at Little Mountain Sound for 18 years, and has been involved in the production of dozens of motion picture scores, countless television movies, and album projects for artists The Tragically Hip, AC/DC, Mötley Crüe, Bryan Adams, Marianas Trench, and Michael Bublé. 

 

Roger owns Dick & Roger's Sound Studio in Gastown, which is the facility Railtown Mastering proudly calls home. He is available for recording, mixing, and select mastering projects.
